Shanda Fisher Huffenberger

Shanda Fisher Huffenberger, 78, of Wilmington, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Quaker Heights Care Community in Waynesville.

She was born Aug. 2, 1945 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Cecil V. Barton and Martha V. Tate Barton.

Shanda was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington and a graduate of Miamisburg High School class of 1963. She loved and adored her grandchildren and enjoyed cooking, boating, waterskiing and gardening.  Vacationing at Lake Cumberland with family and friends was one of her favorites.

Surviving are her husband, Ken Huffenberger, whom she married April 28, 1990; son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Karla Fisher; two grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan Fisher; brother, Cecil Wayne (Phyllis) Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shanda was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Lynn Fisher.

Services will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home with Rev. Josh Dixon officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington.

Friends will be received Monday, July 1, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington.
