Saundra Gail Renk

Saundra Gail Renk, 89, of Lynchburg, passed away March 29, 2024 at Highland District Hospital with family by her side. 

She was born March 5, 1935 in Middletown, the daughter of the late Robert Lester and Florence Gladys Edwards Renk. 

Saundra worked and retired as a dietary aide for The Laurels of Hillsboro. 

Saundra spent time listening to various types of music, spent time with family and loved her dogs that passed years ago. She cared deeply about helping those less fortunate by providing donations and assisting those in need. 

She is survived by her children, Robert J. Damron of Franklin, Sherri (Randy Spicer) Damron of West Lafayette, Ind., Roger Stone of Peru, Ind. and Ramona Noah of Lynchburg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Rook; siblings, Thomas Perry and Clara Weaver; and son-in-law, Jeremy Noah. 

In keeping with her wishes, Saundra will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
