Sarah 'Sally' Frydryk
Sarah “Sally” Frydryk, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away June 27, 2024 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
She was born July 7, 1938 in Foster, Ohio, the daughter of the late Belden C. and Eleanor C. Heineman Saur.
Sally was a member of the Hillsboro Elks and an avid golfer. She graduated from Xavier University in 1981. Sally was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of the Ohio Association of School Business Officials, Hillsboro Emblem Club, D.A.R. and ALTRUSA.
She is survived by her sons, Craig (Nanette) Fahrnbach of Tennessee, David Fahrnbach of Hillsboro and Christopher (Shannon) Fahrnbach of Amelia; stepsons, Karl (Nancy) Frydryk of Dayton, Michael (Joan) Frydryk of Wisconsin and Kevin (Sue) Frydryk of Illinois; many grandchildren; and a growing list of great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Fahrnbach and Edmund “Shine” Frydryk; an infant daughter, Katherine Hope Fahrnbach; brother, Louis (Meriann) Saur of Portsmouth; and sister, Dorothy (Jim) Parker of Trenton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 10-11:45 a.m. at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Mass of Christian burial will take place immediately following visitation at noon at St Mary Catholic Church with Fr Mike Paraniuk as celebrant. Burial will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sally’s name to St Mary Catholic School, 119 E. Walnut St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
