Sarah Marie Trout

Sarah Marie Trout, 33, of Lynchburg, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, surrounded by her family. 

She was born June 23, 1991, in Georgetown, the daughter of Michael and Mary Geneva (Brandstutter) Webster. 

Sarah earned her diploma in 2009 from Lynchburg-Clay High School. She loved watching cartoons, especially SpongeBob. She enjoyed going on outings with her caregivers and she enjoyed going to the Highco School Christmas dance. She will be greatly missed. 

Sarah is survived by her parents, Michael and Mary Geneva Webster of Lynchburg; paternal grandparents, Dianna (Loren) Haines of Florida; siblings, Wayne (Sarah) Collins of Marshall, and William Webster of Lynchburg; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Brandon) Bailey of Seaman, Abigail Lykins of New Vienna, Caitlyn Collins of Lynchburg, Jayden Collins of Marshall, and Brodey Collins of Hillsboro; uncles, Charles (Jackie) Brandstutter, Herman (Carrie) Brandstutter, Mark Brandstutter, and numerous cousins and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Herman and Helen Brandstutter. 

Visitation will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18 at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. following visitation at the funeral home.
