Sarah M. Miller, 85, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 at home.
 
She was born Jan. 31, 1939 in Pomeroy, the daughter of Albert S. and Beatrice (Jones) Christy.
 
She enjoyed embroidering, quilting, making cookies, spending time with family and helping others.
 
She is survived by one daughter, Wanda A. (Donald) Gibbs of Greenfield; three sons, Michael Miller of Littleton, W.Va., Bernard (Christian) Miller of Deerfield and Steve Miller of Deerfield; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Ruth (Joe) Woodell of Bluffton, S.C., Linda (David) Rosenberger of Rootstown and Deborah (Samuel) Lamb of Texas; two brothers, Bernard (Jo Ann) Christy of Mogadore and Jeffrey (Mary) Christy of Crestview, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold “Butch” Miller, on Feb. 18, 1989; three sons, Robert, Ronald and Terry Miller; one granddaughter; one brother, Richard Christy; one sister, Melody Ellebruch; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 4 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor David Rosenberger officiating, followed by cremation. A memorial service and burial of cremains will take place at a later date at Grandview Memorial Cemetery in Ravenna.
 
Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home.
