Sandra Jane Lowe

Sandra Jane Lowe, 57, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2024 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.

She was born the daughter of the late Eldon and Barbara (Ballein) Schraw on July 27, 1966.

Sandra worked at her family’s restaurant, Pasquales Pizza, and also at the Highland County Humane Society. She had a strong love for all animals and her family. Sandra enjoyed puzzles, crafting, and baking and decorating cakes.

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha Lowe; granddaughter, Lilliana Harris; siblings, Brenda McLaughlin, Gary Schraw and Dale (Karen) Schraw; her ex-husband, Rusty Lowe; lifelong friend, Roger Leung; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Schraw; and aunt, Mary Ballein.

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated.  A memorial service will be held June 29, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Church of Christ located at 6670 US 50, Hillsboro 45133. Turner & Son Funeral Home is serving the family.
