Samuel Howard Page, 57, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Aug. 4, 2024 at home, surrounded by love.
 
He was born on Oct. 22, 1966 in Greenfield, the adopted son of his grandmother and step-grandfather, Reba Jean (Riley) and Richard Howland.  
 
Sam was a 1985 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School and was a well-known team member of the 1984 and 1985 McClain varsity basketball team. He was a member of the VFW Post 4736 and American Legion Post 14.
 
He was a former employee of Greenfield Printing/Banta Publishing.
 
He is survived by the love of his life for the past 20-plus years, Christina Nice. He loved and was loved by Christi’s children, David Lanning, Loralee (Tony) Lovill, Bob (Charity) Lanning and Christina (Ryan) Bennett; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He learned two years ago that he had several half-brothers and sisters, Travis (Betty Rae) Rice, Audrey (Richard) Fink, Angie (Marc) Michaels and Dixie (Brian) Combs; two special nephews, RJ and James Fink; and two special nieces, Amelia Michaels and Natalee Combs. He was loved by many, and has a long list of his very close friends, too many to list.
 
He was preceded in death by two half-brothers, Patrick Miller and Brady Page; and his adopted parents and grandparents.

Graveside service will be Saturday, Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. at the Greenfield Cemetery. There will not be a visitation observed.

Memorial contributions may be made to assist the family with expenses at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home, 380 Jefferson Street, Greenfield, Ohio 45123.
