Ruby M. Waites, 86, of Leesburg, died Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Hospice of Dayton.
She was born April 24, 1923, in Highland County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Martin and Eva Wisby Allen.
She and her husband were the owners and operators of Don’s T.V. in Greenfield.
She is survived by a step-daughter, Bonnie Clyburn of Greenfield; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; siblings Mildred High of Blanchester, Roy (Hazel) Allen of Hillsboro, Laverne (Marilyn) Allen of Leesburg, and Raymond Allen of Leesburg; and several nieces and nephews.  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Don Stevens, in 1973; second husband, Herschel Waites, in 1986; two step-sons, Robert Stevens and George Stevens; and brother-in-law David High.  
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at the Turner Funeral Home, Leesburg. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.  
Memorial donations may be made to the Highland County North Joint Fire and Ambulance District, 200 South Street, Leesburg, Ohio 45135.
