Ronald E. Campbell, 63, of Hillsboro, died Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009 at his home. He was born April 5, 1946 in Hamilton County, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Berwanger) Campbell. He was a lifelong farmer and a 1964 graduate of Miami Trace High School. He served on the Highland County Fair Board for 31 years. He was also a member of the St. Benignus Catholic Church of Greenfield. He is survived by his wife, Linda M. Campbell, whom he married April 21, 1967; and two sons, Jeff (Dawn) Campbell of Hillsboro and Todd (Tara) Campbell of Greenfield; four grandchildren, Jevon, Michael, Noah, and Madison; three brothers, Garry Campbell of Greenfield, Donald (Monica) Campbell of Bloomingburg, and Terry (Brenda) Campbell of New Holland; two sisters, Linda Green of Greenfield and Jeanne (Rick) Miller of New Holland; many nieces and nephews; and his mother, Dorothy Campbell, of Washington Court House. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Bill Campbell. A mass of Christian burial was held Thursday, Sept. 17 at the St. Benignus Catholic Church in Greenfield with Father Mike Paraniuk officiating. Burial was held at the Good Hope Cemetery in Good Hope. Visitation was Wednesday, Sept. 16 at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Care Hospice, P.O.
