Robert Wade Murray

Robert Wade Murray of Hillsboro passed away Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2023 at his home, after battling illness most of his adult life. 

Robert was born in Wilmington to Deborah (Perkins) Murray Hess and Ronald Murray.

Robert aka Bobby loved his family, including special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Bobby loved music.  He was playing records as soon as he could walk and grew up playing the guitar. Bobby's hobbies were music, gaming and camping. 

Robert leaves behind his loving mother, Deborah Hess, and stepfather, John Hess; his stepbrothers, John and Kevin; and his lovely fiancée, Kerri Crossley.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved granny, Mary Margaret Perkins.

A private "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date to be determined by his family.
