Robert Lee Hester

Robert Lee Hester, 74, of Leesburg, passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

Robert was born May 20, 1949 in Greenfield, the son of the late Dorothy Hester. 

Robert worked, for over 35 years, at Huhtamaki.

Besides his mother, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Lightner) Hester, on Oct. 11, 2006.

Robert is survived by his sons, Robert Hester of Leesburg, Randolph (Samantha) Hester of Greenfield and John (Tammy) Hester of Hillsboro; 10 grandchildren, Thorne, Zach, Lane, Wesley, Tatjana, Hunter, Kenzie, Logan, Leah and Emily; six great-grandchildren, Rhett, Taylynn, Colson, Priscilla, Mavrick and Paxton; and numerous brothers and sisters. 

Funeral services will be Monday, April 15, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Gilboa Cemetery.

Friends may call Sunday April 14, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
