Robert Eugene Kepler
Robert Eugene Kepler, 50, of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 at Adena Greenfield Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 13, 1973 in Hillsboro, the son of Bobby Dean and Nora Jeanette (Myers) Kepler.
He was a cancer survivor as a teenager and was disabled. He attended Fruitdale Community Church.
He enjoyed fishing, helping his dad work on cars and working on old lawn mowers.
He is survived by his wife, Lucy Marie (Boerger) Kepler, whom he married Aug. 19, 2007; three sisters, Anna Jane (Bob) Robinett of Greenfield, Roberta Kay (Frank) Washburn of Greenfield and Pamela Sue (Jack) Cook of Georgia; two nieces, Sunni Jane (Jerrod) Robinett-Quigley of Greenfield and Chelsea Washburn of Greenfield; three nephews, Jeremy (Nikki) Washburn of Greenfield, John Washburn of Greenfield and Caleb Cook of Georgia; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins, including a special cousin, Jon Garth Kepler; and special friend, Steve Munyon.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, Jan. 24 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jeff Barnhart officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 24 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
