Richard DeBord, 72, of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Wilmington Nursing & Rehab Center in Wilmington.
He was born Feb. 21, 1951 along with his twin, Lee, in Wilmington, the son of the late John Isaac and Faith (Gray) DeBord.
Richard worked as a construction worker and had also worked at the Wilmington Air Park. He had a great joy and love of fishing.
Surviving are a brother, Robert DeBord of New Vienna; his twin brother, Lee (Mary) DeBord of Wilmington; sisters, Judy (Frank) Conley of Ashland, Ky. and Betty DeBord of Wilmington; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by brothers, John, Jim, Philip and Kenny DeBord.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 17 at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, 97 West Locust Street at North Mulberry Street, Wilmington with Pastor Rich Bohl officiating.
Interment will follow in the Clinton County Memory Gardens, Wilmington.
Friends will be received from noon-1 p.m. March 17 at the funeral home.
