Ralph A. Warfield III

Ralph A. Warfield III, of Columbus, passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2024 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.

He was born April 10, 1962 in Chillicothe, the son of Ralph A. Warfield Jr. and Esther Wright Warfield.
 
Ralph was a 1981 graduate of Beechcroft High School. He was an Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He was a member of the Jordan Baptist Church in Columbus. Ralph was a truck driver for Roadmaster.

Surviving Ralph are his mother and father of Columbus; his wife, the former Cordia Ballio of Columbus; three children, Sequoia Warfield, Ralph A Warfield IV and Carmen Warfield, all of Columbus; two stepchildren, Antwuan Ballio and Lajuana Ballio, both of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Malinda Lancaster and Marquita (Larry) Cunningham, both of Columbus, and one brother, Marshall C. “Chico” (Kelly) Warfield of Chillicothe; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Guya Henderson.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 at noon at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Military honors will be accorded at the graveside by the U.S. Army. No calling hours will be held. The Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort is serving the family.
