Ralph W. “Bus” Dickey Sr.
Ralph W. “Bus” Dickey, Sr., 86, of Clarksburg, passed away at his home Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025.
He was born in Clarksburg July 25, 1938, a son of the late Paul and Hattie Rinehart Dickey.
Ralph married the former Judith Echard, who preceded him in death.
Ralph was a graduate of Clarksburg High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a machine operator retiring from Owens Corning. Bus served with the Deerfield Township Fire Department for several years. He was an avid supporter of both boys and girls sports at Adena High School. He loved watching the Ohio State Buckeyes Basketball as well as any other sport that the Buckeyes were playing.
He is survived by one son, Ralph “Chip” Dickey Jr. of Clarksburg; four granddaughters, Mistie, Lacie, Corie and Caitlin; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Bussey was preceded in death by one son; Jeffrey Dickey, one daughter; Kathie Dickey, two brothers; Paul Dickey, Jr. and Russell Dickey and one sister; Ruth Karr.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 4 at the Ebright Funeral Home in Frankfort. Following the service, he will be laid to rest beside his wife, Judith, in Brown’s Chapel Cemetery, Clarksburg.
