Pierre Alain Menard

Pierre Alain Menard, 78, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024.
 
Pierre was born Aug. 9, 1945, in Springfield, Vt. to the late Maurice and Aurore (Renaud) Menard.
 
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from General Motors after 33 years of employment.
 
Pierre is survived by his wife, Elaine Cekola-Menard; five children, Philippe (Dawn) Menard, Justin (Heather) Menard, Danielle Menard (Matt), Laura (Bill) Hudson and Emily Miller; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two brothers, Andre (Cecile) Menard and Denis Menard; one sister, Louise (David) Therrien; and several nieces and nephews.
 
Those who preceded Pierre in death include both of his parents; one sister, Elaine Lynch; and one son-in-law, Keith Miller.
 
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
