Phyllis Jean Turner Bradley

Phyllis Jean Turner Bradley, 76, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024 with her husband by her side. 

She was born March 18, 1947 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Elmer and Opal (Trent) Turner. 

Phyllis grew up attending the Dodds Pentecostal Church of God in Waynesville. Phyllis and her husband, Carl, owned and operated the Industrial Container Company in Lynchburg for over 50 years. She enjoyed working the routes with her husband and getting to know all their customers. She loved her family and life, and she will be greatly missed. 

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Carl Bradley of Lynchburg; two daughters, Kim Bradley and Mary Frances Bradley, both of Dayton; a granddaughter, Nicole Bradley; two brothers, Norman (Linda) Turner of Miamisburg and Keith (Mike Godsey) Turner of Madison Township; and several aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl (Sherry) Eugene Bradley. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Davis-Turner Funeral Home in Lynchburg. Funeral services will follow visitation Thursday, Jan. 25 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Lynchburg Masonic Cemetery following services.
