Penny Lynn Hart Vergamini

Penny Lynn Hart Vergamini, 58, of Hillsboro, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2024 in Washington Court House.

She was born Jan. 19, 1966 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Harold E. and Gladys Marie Hart.

She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, class of 1984; a member of the Fairview Church of Christ; and had worked at Weastec in Hillsboro for several years.

Surviving are three children, Brandon (Kimberly) Vergamini of Washington C.H., Cara (Branden) Frederick of Washington C.H. and Samantha (Bryant) Fox of Bellbrook; eight grandchildren, Cayden, Obadiah, Kyndall, Zaydriana, Porter, Liliana, Greyson and Grant; a sister, Paulette (Richard) Donley of Hillsboro; four brothers, James (Donna) Hart of Kentucky, Gary Hart of Connecticut, Ernie (Winifred) Hart of Connecticut and Robert Hart of Hillsboro; special friend, David Schirtzinger; and her beloved cat, Miss Kitty.

In addition to her parents, Penny was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Hart.

Services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Fairview Church of Christ with Rodney Donley officiating. Interment will follow in the Barnes Cemetery.

Friends will be received Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro, and Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 10-11 a.m. at the church.

Contributions in Penny's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
