Paula Renee Cox

Paula Renee Cox, 51, of South Salem, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.  
 
She was born November 6, 1971 in Greenfield, Ohio, the daughter of Philip and Pamela (Murphy) Cox.
 
Paula was a 1990 graduate of Edward Lee McClain High School. She was a member of the F.O.E. #1325, VFW Post 4736 and was formerly employed at Candle-lite of Leesburg.
 
She is survived by her significant other, Andrew VanDorn; two daughters, Destiny (Cory) Vickers of Chillicothe and Daryan Shoemaker of Washington C.H.; four grandchildren, Eli, Lili, Wyatt and Owen; mother, Pamela Hidy of Leesburg; one brother, Kevin Lee Cox of Leesburg; one half-sister, Missy (Brent) Adams of Washington C.H.; two stepbrothers, Dale Cox and Chris Cox; one stepsister, Tonya Newton; several nieces and nephews, including Trey Wilkinson; and stepmother, Sandy Wright.
 
She was preceded in death by her father, Philip Cox; and stepfather, Kent Hidy.
 
Funeral service will be Friday, April 28 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Danny Dodds officiating. Cremation will follow.
 
Visitation will be Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
