Paul E. Purdin

Paul E. Purdin, 84, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, Nov. 10, 2023 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
 
He was born Oct. 27, 1939 in Greenfield, the son of Burch and Ida (Setty) Purdin.
 
Paul worked as a pressman at Greenfield Printing & Publishing Co., retiring after 34 years of employment.
 
He is survived by his wife, Ellamae (Vince) Purdin, whom he married Nov. 4, 1960; one son, Gary (Cindy) Purdin of Hillsboro; one daughter, Sharon Binegar of Greenfield; two grandchildren, Michael (Delana) Taylor and Cindy (Adam) Mitzel; four step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Patricia Fulmer of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by three brothers, James, Donald and George; three sisters, Eileen, Gladys and Virginia; one son-in-law, Darrell Binegar; and both parents.
 
Cremation will take place, and there will not be a service observed.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
