Patti Ann Shaffer

Patti Ann Shaffer, 86 of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Legacy of Hillsboro.  

She was born Jan. 8, 1938 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Vollie and Margaret (Badgley) Reno.  

Patti is survived by three children, Sherryl (Donald) Howell of Lynchburg, Michelle Corso of Florida and Christopher (Margie) Harvey of Florida; a grandson, Adam Lee (Katie) Burchett of Hillsboro; and a brother, Tony (Nadine) Reno of Berrysville.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Shaffer; a son, Samuel Harvey; a sister; and two brothers.  

A graveside service at the Prospect Cemetery will take place at the convenience of the family. The Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro is serving the family.
