Patsy Freisheim

Patsy Freisheim, 72, passed away Feb. 23, 2025. 

She was born Nov. 12, 1952 to David Leon and Geraldine Baily Daugherty.

Patsy dedicated her life helping everyone around her; family was the most important. She had a long career as a nurse. She loved to cook, entertain, gardening, and being a member of her local church.   

Pasty is survived by her three children, Willie Taggett Jr., Timothy Taggett and Judy Taggett; grandchildren, Ronald Sansone Jr., Zackary Taggett, Adam (Bonnie) Willey and Olivia Taggett; great-grandchild, Adam James Willey; sisters, Barbara (Roy) Douglas, Lori (Ron) Schwartz and Brenda (Art) Mcfarland; brothers, Calvin Daugherty, Andrew (Karen) Sawyer, Father Harvey Sawyer Jr.; special friend Kevin Jones; and many nieces and nephews who adored their Aunt Patsy. 

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Billy Leon Daugherty, Johnny Randell Daugherty and Daniel Dean Daugherty. 

Visitation will be 11 a.m. with a service to follow at 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home & Cremation Care on Saturday, March 1 at 241 E. Main St., Hillsboro. There is be refreshments and appetizers served after the service. 

The family asks all who loved Patsy to bring flower seeds that will be planted in a memorial garden this spring to honor this amazing woman.
