Patricia A. Willis, 81 of Tucson, Ariz. passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Tucson Medical Center. 

“Pat” was born Feb. 11, 1943, in Irvine, Ky., the third child of the late Cecil W. Griffin and Norma Brandenburg Griffin. 

On Feb. 19, 1967, she married Denney T. Willis, who passed away March 2, 2022.

Pat is survived by her sons, Joshua A. Willis of Tucson, Ariz. and J. Adam (Jennifer) Willis; grandchildren Noah, Ava, Luke and Griffin Willis of Aledo, Texas; and a sister, Nancy Griffin Wells of Lexington, Ky.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Cecil Griffin.

Pat met the love of her life Denney in Washington Court House, and they were married 55 years until Denney’s death in 2022. Never far apart, they moved to Pennsylvania where they built several businesses together. In 1979, they moved to Tucson, where they started Arbuckle Coffee, now in its 45th year of operation.

Pat was a wife, mother, “Grannie” and businesswoman, leaving a legacy of integrity, passion and love behind to all that knew her and will be greatly missed.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Monday, May 13 at the Smith-Moore-Ebright Funeral Home in Bainbridge, with Pastor John Fitzgerald officiating. Following the service, Pat will be laid to rest beside Denney in the Bainbridge Cemetery. Calling hours will be 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Monday.
