Patricia 'Pat' Marie Wolf

Patricia “Pat” Marie Wolf, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully Friday, March 1, 2024 at her home with her family by her side.

She was born Oct. 25, 1941 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Lawrence B. and Mary (Newcomb) Reuss.

Pat was a faithful member of the St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, where she attended with her husband, Tom. She was part of the lady’s sodality at the church, helping with flower arrangements, and she also volunteered with the lady’s sodality at the Fayetteville Fire Department. In her earlier years, Pat operated a daycare for children for over 10 years, and she was a Cub Scout leader.

After earning her teaching degree, she became a teacher at Blanchester Elementary School for 25 years. While teaching, she continued her education to earn her master’s degree. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, playing cards, gardening and arts and crafts, but most of all she loved her husband, Tom, and spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her.

Patricia is survived by four children, Tom (Donna) Wolf Jr. of Clarksville, Kim (Jeff) Wolfer of Fayetteville, Joe (Laura) Wolf of Hillsboro and Larry (Brigitte) Wolf of Fayetteville; a daughter-in-law, Kim Wolf of Fayetteville; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Jim (Terina) Reuss of Fayetteville, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Tim Wolf and Mary Nagel; and three siblings, Larry Reuss, Frank Reuss and Barbara Lamphier.

Visitation will be held Wednesday March 6, 2024 from 5-8 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Chapel in St. Martin (Former Brown County Ursuline/Chatfield Campus). Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 10:30 a.m., also at Sacred Heart Chapel. Burial will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made in Patricia’s name to St. Angela Merici, 130 Stone Alley, Fayetteville 45118. The Davis-Turner Funeral Home is serving the family.
