Norman Eugene McCloskey

Norman Eugene McCloskey, 77, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2024 at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
 
He was born July 29, 1947 in Greenfield, the son of Charles and Dorothy (Penwell) McCloskey.
 
He was a farmer, cattle buyer and family man. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride and joy of his life.
 
He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Lou (Smith) McCloskey, whom he married March 26, 1966; two children, Norman (Beth) McCloskey of Grove City and Angela McCloskey Page of South Salem; six grandchildren, Abigail, Taylor (Scott), Jarrett (Shaunessey), Molly, Conner and Cameron (Jess), who was raised same as a son; and five great-grandchildren, Hadlee, Cora, Karlee, Carson and Eli.
 
He was preceded in death by one brother, Dale McCloskey; one sister, Carol Ann Winegar; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Saturday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Mark Current and Pastor Sam Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in the South Salem Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the funeral home.
