Norma Jean Miller

Norma Jean Miller, 81, of Hillsboro, passed away Monday, Sept. 16, 2024.

She was born Nov. 24, 1942 in Vinton County, the daughter of the late Charles V. and Emma M. (Beech) Hutchinson.

Norma worked at Highland District Hospital for 16 years, attended the Church of God and enjoyed flowers and gardening, singing with her sister and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Norma is survived by six children; sons, Tony (Genni) Miller of Hillsboro, Gregory (Cynthia) Miller of Hillsboro, Charles (Mindy) Miller of Greenfield and daughters, Linda Miller, of Hillsboro, Lisa Miller of Hillsboro and Lori (David) Manning of Lynchburg; daughter-in-law, Danette Miller of Greenfield, 21 grandchildren: Timothy Joe Miller, Ryan Miller, Brittany Miller, Kaylee (Ryan) Kelley, JH Ralston, Tiffany Miller, Anthony Miller, Amber Thompson, Derrick Osborne, Ashely Miller, Gregory Miller Jr., Charles (Chuckie) Miller Jr., Kristen Miller, Jessica (Christian) Dammeyer, Colton (Rachel) Garen, Jenna Garen, Abbigail Manning and Austin Manning; and brothers, Michael (Cheri) Hutchinson of Hillsboro and David (Sonya) Hutchinson of Dayton.

Besides her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Eugene Miller; son, Ronald Eugene Miller; sisters, Helen Louise Harvey and Donna Kay Hill; and brother, Jack Hutchinson.

Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024 at 11 a.m. until time of service at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Scott Faulconer will officiate, with burial following in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
