Nancy Anne Philp

Nancy Anne Philp, 92, of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024 at Ohio Living Cape May in Wilmington.  
 
She was born April 29, 1931 in Akron, the daughter of  the late L. Richard and Francis Cobb Taylor.
 
She was a member of Presbyterian Church of Wilmington. Nancy will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her church, children and education, as demonstrated by her tutoring children at Holmes Elementary. She was also an avid fan of the Ohio State football team.
 
Surviving are her son, John R. (Deborah) Philp of Wilmington; daughter, Holly A. (Kris) King of Cincinnati; granddaughter, Kathren R. (Seth Cunningham) Philp of Wilmington; sister, Judy (Norman) Greene; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Jane Chafin and Yvonne Hayes.
 
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, John Mathieson Philp.
 
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, with the time and date announced later.
