Mildred L. 'Millie' Naylor

Mildred L. “Millie” Naylor, 88, of Hillsboro, formerly of Mowrystown, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.  
 
She was born April 10, 1935 in New Boston, the daughter of Jacob and Rose (McCullough) Eiford. On Dec. 17, 1954, she married Gerald “Bob” Naylor, who passed away Sept. 7, 2004.
 
Mildred was a graduate of Whiteoak High School class of 1954 and a former member of the Mowrystown United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly.
 
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Diana Fender and Mike Blackwell of Hillsboro; grandson, Tyler Fender of New Vienna; very special friend, Robert Devilbliss of Hillsboro; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a beloved canine companion, Rasckas.
 
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delbert and Clarissa Mock Naylor; brothers, Ray (Opal) Eiford, Orville (Mary Belle) Eiford and Darrell (Anna Belle) Eiford; and sisters, Myrtle Virginia (Bert) Ferguson, Mary A. Rickey and Mable Lucille (Ray) Stall.
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 at 1 p.m. at Edgington Funeral Home, 17 E. Main St. Mowrystown, with Pastor Kraig Walker officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mowrystown Cemetery.
 
Friends will be received Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
Contributions in Mildred's memory may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
