Michael Knisley

Michael Knisley, 74, of Greenfield, passed away Nov. 27, 2024. 

He was born Aug. 27, 1950 in Ross County, the son of the late Robert Owen Knisley and Iona Elizabeth Knisley.

Michael’s life was a testament to the free spirit that he was, a man who loved life to its fullest, and who found joy in the companionship of his beloved dog, Cricket. He will be greatly missed. 

Michael is survived by five siblings, Jim (Robin) Knisley of Leesburg; Lana “Candy” Dillard of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Martha (Kenny) May of Leesburg, Kellie (Allan Storer) Goodrich of Leesburg and Jeri Litteral of Hillsboro; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Knisley and Dwayne Knisley; and a nephew, Clinton Goodrich. 

A celebration of Michael’s life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family with burial to be held in the Bainbridge Cemetery.
