Michael James Meyers

Beloved husband, father and grandfather Michael James Meyers, 81, passed away peacefully of natural causes Jan. 9, 2024 at the Masonic Home. 

Michael was most recently of Springfield and previously of Belfast Ohio.
 
He was born June 25 1942 in Cincinnati, the son of Eugene and Auldine Meyers.

Michael attended Lakota High school and University of Cincinnati.

He married the love of his life Polly on Aug. 16, 1963, and they had two children, Janine and James.

Michael worked at National Distilleries in Cincinnati, but his most recent employment was owning and operating Belfast Plating and Polishing until retirement. Michael had numerous hobbies and was talented at whatever he turned his hands to, notably leatherwork and wood working. He was known for his generosity, honesty, integrity, wit, humor, kindness and intelligence. 

Michael was devoted to wife and family and will be greatly missed by his surviving wife, successive generations and their spouses, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Gerald. 

Memorial services were held for immediate family.
