Michael Dean Coleman Jr., 56, of Martinsville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 16, 2025 at Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.
  
He was born May 22, 1968 in Dayton, the son of the late Michael Dean Coleman Sr. and Patricia Ann Coleman of Martinsville.

A 1986 Wilmington High School Graduate, Michael spent 22 years in the Ohio Air National Guard, retiring as a master sergeant. He also graduated from Southern State Community College with a degree in aircraft maintenance and air frame maintenance.

In addition to his mom, other surviving family members are his son, Christopher (Skye) Coleman of Washington Court House; grandchildren, Lincoln, Elliana and Wylder Coleman; brother, James D. (Betsy) Coleman of Hillsboro; aunts and uncles, Janet (Dan) LeBeau of Morrow, Nancy Coleman of Xenia, Tom (Nellie) Coleman of Wilmington and Cecil (Sandra) Coleman of Xenia.

In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cecil and Hazel Coleman; paternal grandparents, Harold and Gretchen Coleman; uncles, Roylance Coleman and Ronald (Theresa) Coleman.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 15 at Bethany Baptist Church, 10156 S.R. 350, Clarksville, with Pastor Tim Bradshaw officiating. Michael will have his memorial service in conjunction with his grandmother, Hazel Coleman, who passed on Jan. 16, 2025.
