Melanie Wright-Dodson

Melanie Wright-Dodson, 75, of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023.

She was born May 6, 1948 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Richard and Georgeanna (Meyer) White.

Melanie is survived by her daughter, Michele Wright of Sabina; sons, Paul Wright of Hillsboro, Brian Wright of Hillsboro and Christopher Wright of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Melanie (Andy) Wical, Tyler (Makenzie Burns) Wright, Alexis Fritz, Cheyenne Woods and four other grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Bang of Texas and Richard White of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Randy Dodson; daughter, Karrie Wright; sister, Sandra Dawson; and brother, Lloyd Bang.

On behalf of Melanie’s wishes, she is to be cremated.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 2 p.m. at 8405 US 62, Hillsboro 45133.
