Matthew 'Mac' Julien

Matthew “Mac” Julien, 96, of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Hospice of Cincinnati East.   

He was born Aug. 24, 1927 in Loveland, the son of the late Howard W. and Florence M. Julien. 
 
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps; loved hunting and fishing; and was a longtime bus mechanic in Sycamore. 
 
Surviving are his wife, Sylvia M. Julien; daughter, Sherry Lacally; grandson, Jamie; granddaughter, Jennifer; and two great-grandchildren, Angelene Chambers and Liam Feie. 
 
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, 11000 Montgomery Road, Cincinnati, where the United States Marine Corps will accord military honors.  
 
Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro has been entrusted with the arrangements.
