Mary E. Brown

Mary E. Brown, 93, of Chillicothe, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Traditions of Chillicothe, following a lingering illness.

She was born Friday, March 29, 1929 in Vinton County, the daughter of the late William C. and Fannie F. Justice Hutchinson.

Mary was a homemaker and loved to cook and care for her family.  

On May 1, 1948, she married Joseph M. Brown, who preceded her in death on August 23, 1986.  
 
She is survived by her three children, Joseph C. (Barbara) Brown of Circleville, Larry E. (Janis) Brown of Chillicothe and Wanda L. (Evert) Mason of Greenfield; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by one granddaughter, one sister and five brothers.
 
A funeral service will be held Monday, March 27, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the Ebright Funeral Home, Frankfort with Stanley Kennedy officiating. Following the service, Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours will be held Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
