Mary Alice Wilmoth, 85, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 22, 2023 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.

She was born Dec. 11, 1937 in Buford, the daughter of the late Urlick and Lyda Bell (Gardener) DeHass.

The most important thing to Mary was taking care of her family. She also enjoyed going to yard sales.

Mary is survived by her children, Terry (Patricia) Wilmoth of Missouri, Vickie (Scott) Carrozza of Hillsboro, Eugene Glenn Wilmoth Jr. of Williamsburg and Kevin (Trica) Wilmoth of Russellville; seven grandchildren; great-granddaughter, Jadyen; several great-grandchildren; and siblings, Barbara Shelley of Mowrystown, Stevie DeHass of Lake Waynoka and Kay Posey of Hillsboro.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Glenn Wilmoth; her daughters, Kathy Alexander and Ardonna Burkharth; granddaughters, Brittany and Stephanie Wilmoth; and her siblings, Richard, Betty, John and Wilma.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 11 a.m. until time of service at noon at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Sardinia Cemetery.
