Martha J. Gregg

Martha J. Gregg, 95, of Arnold, Md., formerly of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Centered Care, LLC.
 
She was born Oct. 20, 1927 in Greenfield, the daughter of William and Helen (Adkins) Rooks.  
 
Martha was owner/operator of Cut-N-Curl Beauty Salon in Greenfield for over 60 years.
 
She is survived by her grandchildren, Shira (Tim) Dowling of Arnold, Md., Cody (Tiffany) Scott of Greenfield and Eliza (Jacob) Pearce-Dietrich of Greenfield; great-grandchildren, Allie, Morgan, Sarah, Morgan, Noah, Deagon, Gracey and Ethan; one great-great-grandson, Sterling Strange; one half-sister, Bobbi Peterson of Courtland; and two special nieces that assisted Martha in late life, Toby Dickess and Karla Peffly, both of Tipp City.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, George “Dagwood” Gregg; one son, Douglas R. “Ric” Scott; one daughter-in-law, Elaine (Adams) Scott; and both parents.
 
Funeral service will be Thursday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Jay Fabin officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenfield Cemetery.
 
Visitation will be Thursday from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
