Marsha Owens Saunders, 64, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023 at the Highland District Hospital.

She was born Feb. 18, 1959 in Xenia, the daughter of the late E. Clifton “Cliff” Jr. and Flossie Eileen (Rhoads) Henson.

She is survived by four children, Justin (Stephanie) Saunders of Shreveport, La., Norman (Crystal) Saunders of Hillsboro, Aaron (Stephanie) Saunders of Greenfield and Joshua Saunders of Leesburg; nine grandchildren; a brother, Tom (Diane) Henson of Leesburg; two sisters, Kimberly (Richard) Blevins of New Vienna and Crystal (Adam) Wait of Hillsboro; a niece, Kristy; four nephews, Jeff (Megan), Blake (Mackenzie), Corey and Nick; three great-nieces, Dailey, Katelyn and Everly; and two great-nephews, Jase and Lincoln.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, Nov. 9, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Chad Watson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
