Larry L. Rogers

Larry L. Rogers, 84, of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023.

He was born July 15, 1939 in Highland County to the late Raymond R. and Elizabeth A. (Park) Rogers.

Larry graduated from Marshall High School in 1957, was a lifelong farmer and retired from R&L Carriers.

He is survived by two daughters, Sherri (Rhett) Holland of Hillsboro and Heather (Joe) Cummings of Hillsboro; five grandchildren, Morgan (Jacob) Helterbrand, Hannah Holland, Phoebe Holland, Jolee Cummings and Paige Cummings; two brothers, David Rogers of Boise, Idaho and Duane (Carol) Rogers of Hillsboro; two sisters, Janet Greer of Ft. Pierce, Fla. and Sandra (Donald) Anderson of New Vienna; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patsy Rogers of Hillsboro, Janice Rogers of Hillsboro, Mike (Mary) Stone of Greenfield, Kevin (Donna) Stone of Greenfield and Ruthie Cowman of Bainbridge; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.

Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Frances J. (Cowman) Rogers; daughter, Kelli Beth Rogers; brothers, Hugh Rogers and Francis “Dee” Rogers; and brothers-in-law, Ron Horton, George Greer and Rusty Cowman.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Visitation is Friday, Nov. 24, 2023 from 11 a.m. until time of service at Thompson Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Gilboa Cemetery in Greenfield.
