Kevin Luke Rachford, 46, of South Salem, died Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at his residence.

He was born May 8, 1963 in Chillicothe, Ohio, the son of Joseph William and Edith E. (Skaggs) Rachford.

He was a supervisor at the operations department at Technicolor of Wilmington and was a 1980 graduate of the Edward Lee McClain High School. He was an avid bowler and sports fan, and he loved to play Playstation and Wii with his son.
He is survived by his former wife, Angela F. (Bryan) Rachford of Washington C.H.; one son, Nathan Andrew Rachford of Washington C.H.; two stepchildren, Isaiah Newman and Jericca Leach, both of Washington C.H.; two brothers, Steve (Debbie) Rachford and Mike (Lesa) Rachford, both of South Salem; one sister, Laura (Randy) Munyan of South Salem; two nieces, Sarah (Michael) Beach of Bethel and Katie (Alan) Carter of South Salem; four aunts; two uncles; and special friends Bobby Paul of Greenfield, Al Lester of Hillsboro, Danny Johnson of Washington C.H., Jessie Wheaton of Greenfield; Wayne Beechler, Dan Moore of Washington C.H., and Danny Morris of Staunton.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wyatt William Rachford and John Matthew Rachford, and numerous aunts and uncles.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2009 at Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Pastor Wayne Combs and Rev. Robert K. Blaine officiating. A visitation will be held 4–8 p.m. Sunday, September 27, 2009. He will be buried in South Salem Cemetery.
