Kenneth R. "Ken" Taylor

Kenneth R. "Ken" Taylor, 68, of Sardinia, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024.

Ken was born Feb. 1, 1956 in Wayne County, Ky., the son of the late Denver K. and Vela M. (Ball) Taylor. 

He was a 1974 graduate of Whiteoak High School. After graduation, he went to work at the Hobart Corporation in Hillsboro, where he worked for 30 years. After retiring from Hobart, Ken went to work for the Carraher Farms for the past 15 years.

He is survived by his children, Eric (Shelly) Taylor of Hillsboro and Amy (Mark) Faber of Springboro; seven grandchildren, Logan Taylor, Emma Taylor, Maddie Taylor, Paige Carter, Ashley Carter, Evan Faber and Mason Faber; a great-grandson, Luke Reed; a brother, Larry (Becky) Taylor of Hillsboro; a sister, Sandra (Marty) Behm of Belfast; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Taylor; and a sister, Janet Taylor.

A graveside service to honor and celebrate Ken's life will be held at Hillsboro Cemetery on March 16, 2024, at 12:00 pm. All friends and family are welcome to join in remembering Ken's life.

Larry, Sandy and Ken's family: so sorry to hear this. Your family has been through enough recently. Please know that many of us will always appreciate our friendships. Ken was a very good man and always kind to me. I remember playing football with Larry and Ken so many years ago. Please accept my sincere condolences. – Rory
