Juanita Mae Miller

Juanita Mae Miller, 82, of Leesburg, passed away Feb. 4, 2025 at Carriage Court in Washington Court House. 

She was born Jan. 14, 1943 in Seaman, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Moore) Storer.
 
Juanita was employed as a rural mail carrier for the USPS. She attended both the Leesburg Church of Christ and Southside Church of Christ. She was very involved in church life, especially the music. At one time, Juanita was a member of a women’s trio and enjoyed singing with them. Juanita played the piano in church for over 40 years. She taught Sunday school, was a choir director and VBS leader. Juanita enjoyed collecting antiques and teapots. She also enjoyed going on vacation, watching the Cincinnati Reds and attending the grandchildren’s sporting events. Juanita was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. 

She is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Shannon) Miller of Leesburg, Jill (Dave) Sanderson of Washington Court House and Jeremy (Deanne) Miller of Leesburg; seven grandchildren, Edward Coleman, Sarah Coleman, Nathaniel (Taylor) Miller, Christopher (Sara) Warning, Chelsea Warning, Madison Miller and Faith Miller; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Hadley, Elsie, Josephine, Lafe, Aniston, Elias, Madalynn and Alexis Kate; and special companion of 26 years, Glenn Taylor. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome “Jerry” Miller, in 1997. 

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10 at Turner Funeral Home in Leesburg. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. The service will be officiated by Danny Dodds. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
