Jon L. Boden, 54, of Greenfield, died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at the Greenfield Area Medical Center.

He was born March 2, 1955 in Greenfield, Ohio, the son of the late John and Erma (Cropper) Boden.
He was a machinist at Contractors Resource and was formerly employed by Hytek of Columbus. He was a member of F.O.E. #1325, VFW Post 4736, and American Legion Post 14.
He is survived by two sisters, Rebecca (Steven) Meyers and Ann (Darrell) Upp, both of Greenfield; one niece, Sarah Upp, of Greenfield, one nephew, Tobin White, of Greenfield; and numerous friends.
Graveside services will be held Monday, September 28 at Gilboa Cemetery in New Petersburg. Visitation will be held 4–8 p.m., with Eagles services to be held at 8 p.m. at the Murray-Fettro Home in Greenfield followed by a gathering to celebrate his life at F.O.E. #1325.
