Joan Kay Lewis, 67, of Hillsboro, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Highland District Hospital.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on September 30, 1942, the daughter of the late Harold Baumgardner and Gladys (Riddle) Browne of Hillsboro. 
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Marian Lewis of Lynchburg; one daughter, Cheryl Storer of Hillsboro; one sister and brother-in law, June and Glenn Stratton of Hillsboro, eight grandchildren, Larry Storer, Chad Storer, Elizabeth (Lee) Littler, Amber Perry, Angela Perry, Anthony Perry, Adam Perry and Cody Stratton; and special friend Debbie Green of Hillsboro.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor John Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Eagle Services will be held at 7:30 p.m. followed by VFW Services. 
Memorials may be made to the Thompson Funeral Home, 241 E. Main St., Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
