Jo Anne Myers

Jo Anne Myers, 81, of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025 at Court House Manor of Washington C.H.
 
She was born Jan. 12, 1944, in Ross County, the daughter of Benjamin D. and Mildred (Kinnamon) Zickafoose.
 
She was a 1961 graduate of Buckskin High School and was twice Ms. Buckskin.
 
She was formerly employed at Greenfield Daily Times, Greenfield Area Medical Center in the Medical Records dept, and then was a Medical Transcriptionist for Dr. Mizer at Greenfield Family Practice up until her retirement.
 
She is survived by her son, Brian Patrick (Erica) Myers of Greenfield; three grandsons, Cameron (Tara) Myers of Circleville, Reid (Halie) Myers of Kingston, Tate (Brooke) Myers of Chillicothe; one great-granddaughter, Hadlee; one great-grandson, Nolan; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Terry Foltz and Carol Speakman.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold James “Shorty” Myers on Feb. 7, 2024; one sister, Yvonne Hakes; one brother, Benjamin Zickafoose, II; her father, Benjamin D. Zickafoose; mother and stepfather, Mildred and Don Taylor.
 
Cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
