Jerry D. Milburn

Jerry D. Milburn, 71, of Greenfield, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2023 at home.  
 
He was born April 3, 1952 in Highland County, the son of Mitch Wilson and Mary M. (Rhoades) Milburn.
 
He was retired from Greenfield Products, where he was employed as a welder. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to many who enjoyed fishing with his grandson and the outdoors. No one ever spoke ill of him, and he was a man of his word.
 
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Lee (Back) Milburn, whom he married Jan. 25, 1971; two sons, Kevin Milburn of Hillsboro and Jamie (Tanya) Milburn of Greenfield; one daughter, Misty Milburn of Greenfield; nine grandchildren, Samantha, Austin, Chloe, Kandis, Kayla, Ashley, Brittany, Dusty and Dillon; four brothers, James Milburn, Frank (Nancy) Milburn, Dean (Glenda) Milburn and Paul Wilson; two sisters, Hazel Hufford and Dolly Landess; and several nieces and nephews.
 
He was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Milburn Jr.; one brother, Charlie Milburn; and both parents.
 
Cremation will take place, and there will not be a service observed.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
