Jenny Lynne Hopkins

Jenny Lynne Hopkins, 76, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 26, 2024.

Jenny was born Dec. 7, 1947 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Francis “Doc” W. and Ruth Aileen McKinney DeVore.

She is survived by her son, Fred (Melissa) Smith of Monitor, Wash.; daughter, Karma (Daren) Broemeling of Clarkston, Wash.; grandchildren, Harrison and Liam Smith and Memphis and Murray Broemeling; brother, Joe (Suzanne) DeVore; brother-in-law, Walter Welch; nieces and nephews; and a good friend, Christine Lewis.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Hopkins; and her sister, Judy Welch.

In keeping with her wishes, Jenny will be cremated, and no formal services will be held.

Donations can be made in Jenny’s name to Hospice of Hope.
