Jenny Lou Cross

Jenny Lou Cross, 60, of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 27, 2025 at Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.
 
She was born Oct. 20, 1964, in Greenfield, the daughter of Herb and Janet (Lightle) Merritt.
 
She loved her family and her grandchildren were the apple of her eye.
 
She retired from bartending at the VFW Post 4736 and was formerly employed at the U.S. Shoe Factory.
 
She is survived by her son, Chad Smith of Greenfield; two grandchildren, Delilah and Caiden Smith; two sisters, Angel Underwood, Pam (Harley) Nebbergall; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marty J. Cross on Nov. 17, 2020; one son, Justin Tyler Cross; one brother, Herbie Merritt; father, Herb Merritt; mother and stepfather, Janet and Dean Cottrell.
 
Cremation will take place and there will not be a service observed.
 
The Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield is serving the family.
