Janice Louise Sizemore | The Highland County Press

Janice Louise Sizemore, 81, of Hillsboro, passed away peacefully Monday, Aug. 5, 2024 at Highland District Hospital.

She was born Nov. 11, 1942 in Bellaire, the daughter of the late Harry Phillips and Wilda Weekley.

Janice was a faithful wife and loving mother who doted over her grandkids. Janice enjoyed cooking, and her family attests she was good at it. She was a member of Samantha Freewill Baptist Church. Janice loved the Lord with all her heart and was looking forward to the day when she would meet her Savior.

She is survived by her sons, David (Tammy) Sizemore and Dean Sizemore, both of Hillsboro; grandchildren, Brittany Sizemore, Aaron Sizemore and Sarah Sizemore; and brother, Jim Weekley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Delmo, Joe, Jerry and Jack Weekley.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2024 from 11 a.m. until time of service of 1 p.m. at Turner & Son Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
