Janet Louise (Garrison) Manley, 67, of Greenfield, died Friday, Jan. 1, 2010 at her residence.
She was born Oct. 12, 1942 in Ross County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Ruby (Prather) Garrison.
She retired from Adena Greenfield Medical Center on Nov. 1, 2009 after 23 years of service. She was a 1960 graduate of Buckskin High School.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (Tab) Fitzpatrick of Greenfield and Lynn (Mark) Harris of Wilmington; one son, Benny (Sandra) Zickafoose of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Christopher (Leslie) Fitzpatrick, Daniel Fitzpatrick, Louie Curren, Olivia Harris, and Michael Zickafoose; one great-granddaughter, Ella Fitzpatrick; one sister, Carolyn Fout of Greenfield; three brothers, Owen "Pap" (Grace) Garrison of Greenfield, Larry (Sandra) Garrison of Greenfield, and Gary (Sandy) Garrison of Greenfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by nine brothers, Raymond, Wendell, Cecil, Thomas, Harold, Kenneth, William, Donald, and Glenn; three sisters, Vivian Garrison, Eula Hyer, and Mabel George; and an aunt, Virginia Prather.
Services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Murray-Fettro Funeral Home in Greenfield with Rev. Mark Current officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenfield Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled for 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 5.
