Janet Louise Brewer, 90, of Lynchburg, passed away after a brief illness at Hospice of Hope at Adams County Regional Medical Center.

She was April 5, 1933 in Melvin, the daughter of the late Russell and Ruth (Nevergall) Hubbell.

Janet liked to go hiking and was a member of the Xenia Hiking Club.

Janet is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Brewer; and her siblings, Lucy Ann Steritz, Katherine Smith and Jospeh Hubbell.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. April 3 in Dayton National Cemetery.
